The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in data analysis, a strong command of Python and SQL, and experience with data visualisation tools. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, including economists and client-facing stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Analyse and interpret complex data sets to drive business insights and support decision-making.Write efficient, well-structured SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.Design and develop compelling dashboards.Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including economists and business stakeholders.Maintain high standards of documentation and data governance.Apply sound data analysis methodologies and statistical techniques to solve real-world problems.RequirementsEssential:University-level degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Previous professional experience in data analytics or a relevant role.Proficient in Pandas and SQL, with hands-on experience in data manipulation and querying.Good knowledge of Excel.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented environments.Good working knowledge in English.Desirable:Familiarity with statistical modelling.Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.Working arrangementsYou will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the work we do from day one.Alma Economics is a friendly and informal place, and our offices are designed for both work and play.
