Data Analyst (Data Migration Project)

Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Analyst to support the CLM Data Migration Project. The role involves analyzing source and target data structures, executing data mapping, supporting validation and testing, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data requirements and migration objectives.Perform data mapping between legacy systems and target platforms (e.g., Core Banking, Downstream Reporting).Develop and maintain data mapping documents and transformation rules.Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes during data migration.Conduct data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation post-migration.Assist in UAT testing — prepare test data, execute test cases, and document outcomes.Identify, analyze, and escalate data inconsistencies or anomalies to relevant stakeholders.Collaborate with developers, testers, and business users to resolve data-related issues.Participate in data masking activities to ensure compliance with data privacy standards.Provide regular status updates and progress reports on migration and testing activities.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.12–15+ years of experience in data analysis, migration, or ETL projects.Strong proficiency in SQL, data structures, and relational databases.Hands-on experience in data mapping, data profiling, and validation techniques.Familiarity with CLM systems, core banking platforms, Denodo, or downstream reporting.Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in financial services or regulatory reporting (FATCA, GDPR).Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.Exposure to tools like DDIQ, Phoenix, or Actimize.
