DecisionPoint seeks a Data Analyst to support enterprise performance measurement and analytics within a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role analyzes KPIs, audience segments, channel metrics, and operational data to generate monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc insights that inform decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement efforts.The Data Analyst supports data modeling, visualization, reporting, and trend analysis across communications, outreach, digital engagement, and mission support activities. Insights generated by this role help optimize program performance and strengthen mission alignment.This position is fully remote. Note By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an active competitive government contract bid.**The Data Analyst willDefine, measure, and analyze KPIs, performance metrics, and audience segment data. Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc insights for leadership and mission partners. Analyze digital and communications channel metrics including web, email, social, and outreach performance. Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for decision-makers. Conduct trend analysis, variance identification, and performance forecasting. Support continuous improvement cycles by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities. Ensure data quality, consistency, metadata accuracy, and documentation integrity. Collaborate with communications, UX, outreach, IT, and data governance teams to align measurement with mission needs. Support development and refinement of KPI frameworks, taxonomies, and data models. Maintain analytics datasets, queries, and structured reports. Clearance RequirementCandidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.Education (Required)Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.Experience (Required)Minimum 4 years of experience in analytics, performance measurement, business intelligence, or data analysis. Experience developing insights from KPIs, segmentation, and channel performance data. Experience producing dashboards and analytic summaries for organizational leadership. Experience working with structured datasets, visualizations, and reporting tools. Technical Knowledge (Required)Proficiency with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of performance metrics, segmentation analysis, and measurement frameworks. Knowledge of data modeling, visualization techniques, and statistical analysis. Technical Knowledge (Preferred)Experience with automation of reporting pipelines. Familiarity with communications analytics, user behavior metrics, or stakeholder engagement measurement. Experience with SQL, R, Python, or similar tools for data analysis. Certifications (Preferred)Analytics or BI tool certifications ITIL v4 Foundation Data science or visualization certifications SkillsStrong analytical and quantitative reasoning abilities. Effective communication skills for translating data into narrative insights. High accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple reporting cycles simultaneously. Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams. Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
