The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to provide insights that support strategic decision-making. The role includes gathering data from multiple sources, identifying patterns and trends, and presenting findings clearly to stakeholders. Additionally, the analyst helps assess organizational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development of new products, services, and operational strategies, serving as a metrics-driven advisor across departments.JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and automate efficient data collection and transformation processes using tools such as SQL, Python, and ETL platformsDesign, build, and maintain relational databases and data systems, ensuring data integrity and performance optimizationConduct data cleansing and quality assurance using Excel or specialized data-prep tools (e.g.,Power Query)Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, outliers, and actionable insightsStructure and query large datasets to extract relevant information for specific business questions or challengesDevelop and deliver reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools to support executive and operational decision-makingCollaborate with stakeholders across departments to define data needs and KPIs aligned with strategic objectivesMaintain and enhance dynamic dashboards with visualizations such as charts, graphs, and tables for ongoing business monitoringPartner with department leads to uncover operational inefficiencies and recommend data-backed solutionsRespond to ad-hoc reporting requests and analytical needs from various departmentsSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or data engineering roleProficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysisDemonstrated experience working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or LookerAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas) and strong general proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong analytical mindset with the ability to extract meaning from complex datasets and translate it into actionable insightsExcellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to collaborate effectively in a team-based, cross-functional environment with diverse stakeholdersHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, strong attention to detail, accuracy in analysis, reporting and documentationProactive, self-driven, and adaptable to evolving priorities or business needs as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
