Data Analyst

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on uncovering insights through data, translating complex information into clear business recommendations, and collaborating cross-functionally to support strategic decision-making.As a mid- to senior-level Data Analyst, you’ll work with large datasets, refine data models, and provide analytical support to business leaders across operations, finance, and strategy. You’ll play a hands-on role in improving data processes and ensuring reporting accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and insights.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs and translate data findings into actionable recommendations.Support data governance and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting.Automate and streamline data collection and reporting processes.Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and improve accessibility.Present findings to leadership in a clear, concise, and visually engaging way.Qualifications5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a related analytics role.Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and at least one BI/reporting tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).Strong understanding of relational databases, ETL processes, and data modeling.Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and automation is a plus.Excellent communication skills—able to convey complex data in simple business terms.Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
