Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you must have the skills to gather, scrutinize, transform and analyze data according to business requirements. You must have a high business acumen, and can maintain good stakeholder relations while also being knowledgeable in the technical skills needed in the data profession. The role starts with understanding the business problem, going through the entire data analysis process with assistance from other data/business professionals as needed, and then presenting the data-driven business decision to the key stakeholders.Responsibilities:Works with key stakeholders to understand the operational problem of the business, analyzes the problem domain and validates requirementsCollects, transforms, and organizes necessary data from multiple sources; analyzes, designs, visualizes and shares insights that drive data-driven decisions.Regularly works with other business professionals and subject matter experts for support and feedbackHandles and manages projects with multiple stakeholders and delivers quality output in a timely mannerGenerates insights and presents recommendations to clientsQualifications:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any related fields such as Finance or Accountancy (or equivalent)Can understand overall functions and day-to-day operations of a businessHigh in business acumen, including financeStrong analytical and problem solving skillsCan handle and switch in between multiple projects1-3 years prior experience as a Financial Analyst, Data Analyst, or as a Business AnalystStatistical Methods and AnalysesKnowledge about Predictive AnalyticsAdvanced Excel and Proficiency in using SQL, R/PythonExperience in using data visualization or Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Excellent in client relations and presentation skills
