Data Analyst (SQL)

The RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated remote Data Analyst to join our fast-paced startupenvironment. You’ll sit within Engineering and collaborate closely with both Customer Successand Product teams:- With Customer Success, you’ll deliver insights to founders of early-stage andhigh-growth DTC companies through custom BI reports, exploratory analysis, andad-hoc support.- With Product, you’ll enhance our proprietary BI platform by building new reportingfeatures that empower clients to explore data independently.Responsibilities:- Transform client requests into data deliverables, such as models, data transformations,and interactive reporting.- Build standard reports in our analytics platform for use across all clients.- Answer ad-hoc questions with SQL and deliver polished reports to clients.- Monitor and improve data quality across our reporting platform.- Collaborate with other members of the Customer Success team to share learnings aboutthe client’s business.- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and anomalies within the Drivepointreporting platform.Requirements:- Fantastic SQL skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team membersin a remote environment.- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.- Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).- Experience creating BI visualizations (e.g. Looker, Tableau).- Bachelor's degree or above in data science, computer science, statistics, economics, orrelated field.- 3+ years of relevant data analytics experience.Extra points:- Experience with ecommerce data (Shopify, Amazon, or similar).- Experience working in an early-stage startup environment.- Familiarity with dbt and ELT pipelines.- Knowledge of financial and business performance metrics.
