What you can expect Due to continuous operational growth, we are looking to expand our Evaluation department. We are therefore seeking engaged and structured individuals to join our team for tethered inspections in Bergen as a full-time Technical Data Analyst. As a Technical Data Analyst working with tethered inspections, you will interpret data collected using ultrasound technology to map installations and detect defects in pipelines. You will work with various measurement technologies such as ultrasound and gyroscopes. Suitable candidates are analytical and methodical in their work approach and possess strong technical understanding.

The role requires following procedures, performing accurate analyses, and maintaining good relationships with project managers, colleagues, and clients. If the candidate has a technical background and skills in mechanics or electronics, there may also be opportunities to participate in travel-based inspection jobs when needed. Previous experience in inspection technology or data analysis is not a requirement, but candidates should have an interest in and ability to handle, process, and analyze data, as well as perform technical reporting. ROSEN Norway will provide the necessary training. We also welcome recent graduates to apply.

Efficiently analyze inspection data in accordance with project requirementsGather all necessary information and available data from completed inspectionsMerge and compare analysis results for combined reporting (multiple technologies)Validate analysis results for plausibility, reporting specifications, and field measurementsConfigure and prepare software to be delivered to the clientReport results in accordance with project reporting requirementsFinalize and quality-assure deliverables such as reports and softwareParticipate in equipment preparation and testing of new tools or technologies in our workshopContribute to the development of departmental routines and procedures for task efficiencyWhat you will bringBachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology or natural sciences (mechanical, materials, subsea or marine engineering, mathematics, natural sciences, or IT)Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially ExcelAnalytical mindset and ability to focus on computer-based work for extended periodsAccurate and structured work methodology with strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environmentGood verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and EnglishFamiliarity with programming and software such as PythonAbility to quickly learn new softwareApplicants must currently reside in Bergen, Norway.
