The Digital Analytics team is a highly visible department that is charged with finding the best methods to understand consumer thoughts, feelings, and behaviors across digital and social channels.

They play an integral part in aiding key business decisions for the Walt Disney Company, encompassing both Corporate and Disney Entertainment - Parks, Cruises, Games, Consumer Products, Disney+, Hulu, Marvel, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, Pixar, Disney Live Action, and Walt Disney Animation. You will join a dynamic group who are passionate about bringing the consumer voice into company decision-making every day. You will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting data related to our presence on digital platforms and social media, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive informed business decisions.

This role is responsible for monitoring social media platforms, digital news outlets, and online communities to identify emerging and trending topics related to the company via exceptional analytical capabilities, an understanding of digital and social media platforms, and the ability to organize, visualize, and translate data into actionable insights. Responsibilities: Monitor a wide range of social and digital media platforms (e. g.

, X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, BlueSky, blogs, forums, and news sites) for discussion surrounding The Walt Disney Company and its subsidiariesIdentify and flag Disney related discussion online in real time to appropriate stakeholdersMaintain and lead live monitoring efforts during high-impact events, launches, or news-worthy topics, including the configuration and management of real-time alert systemsCollaborate with internal teams to provide timely insights and context around digital conversationsWrite and optimize Boolean queries to refine and enhance social listening efforts across various monitoring toolsMonitor dashboards, automated notifications, and reports using social listening tools (e. g. , Netbase/Quid, Sprinklr, Meltwater, TalkWalker, etc.

) to visualize key metrics and trendsProduce reporting deliverables for executive leaders spanning the full suite of The Walt Disney Studios brandsTranslate business questions into data-informed insights by proactively exploring analytics resources and requirements. Leverage digital and social listening tools to track, trend, and understand consumer behaviors, expressed preferences, and responses to marketing effortsMaintain a data repository to capture and organize proactive opportunities and brand related alertsBe the voice of the consumer. Effectively communicate both quantitative and qualitative findings with timely, relevant, and actionable insights to support tactical short-term and long-term strategic decision-makingBasic Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in data analytics or monitoring with a focus on social media, digital marketing, and/or consumer dataProficiency with analytics provided by TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and XProficiency with social analytics and listening tools, e. g. Sprinklr, Netbase/Quid, ListenFirst, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, etc.

Knowledge of The Walt Disney Company’s portfolio of brands and public presenceExceptional analytical thinking and mathematical skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyProven time management skills, with an ability to work rapidly and efficiently in a fast-paced and changing environmentAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Google Drive (Sheets, Slides) systemsOutstanding communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to make clear and concise visual presentationsAbility to interpret data and combine with other data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the businessThis role requires in-person collaboration from Monday to Thursday and remote work on FridayWillingness to on occasion work non-traditional hours to cover time sensitive reporting.

Adobe Analytics is a plusKnowledge of crisis communication protocols and reputational risk management a plusBoolean search logic experience a plusEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing, Psychology, or equivalent experience. The hiring range for this position in California is $78,200. 00 to $104,800. 00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
