We are seeking a Data and Reporting Officer to play a key role in managing, analysing, and reporting health data that informs strategic planning and improves health outcomes across the Gold Coast. In this role, you will develop business intelligence (BI) models, produce high-quality data visualisations, and prepare strategic documents, such as needs assessments and reports. GCPHN is building ‘one world-class health system for the Gold Coast’—and we know we can’t do it alone.What We OfferRemuneration package of $89,717 - $102,005 + SuperFull-time fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027 with possible extension.Flexible work arrangements that support work-life balance, including hybrid working optionsSalary packaging (Fringe Benefit Tax exemptions) up to $15,900 p.a. + $2,650 p.a. meal and entertainment (tax-free income)5 weeks annual leave per year, paid parental leave, plus annual CPI salary increasesExceptional organisational reputation with established relationships in primary health careBenchmarked ‘Soaring’ workplace culture, with a supportive and collaborative teamConvenient location at Robina (Gold Coast) with free onsite parkingAbout The RoleAs the Data and Reporting Officer, you will:Source, cleanse, and integrate qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sourcesDevelop and maintain BI models using tools like Power BI and ExcelApply statistical and thematic analysis to identify trends and actionable insightsDesign engaging data visualisations for dashboards, reports, and publicationsPrepares strategic documents, needs assessments, and reports that support organisational planningMaintain KPI reporting processes and templates for funded providersContribute to research initiatives and collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersEligibility CriteriaEssentialTertiary qualifications in public health, epidemiology, social sciences, data analytics, or related disciplineExperience working with qualitative and quantitative dataMinimum two years’ experience in data analysis, BI, and report writingProficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesirableExperience working with health dataFamiliarity with data governance and privacy frameworksExperience in research and/or evaluation methodologies (e.g. program logics) How To ApplyTo apply, please submit a cover letter addressing the selection criteria along with your current resume.
