Data Annotator

We are seeking meticulous and detail-oriented Data Annotators to join our AI training pipeline on a contract basis. You will play a critical role in preparing high-quality labeled datasets that power cutting-edge machine learning models. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong analytical skills, linguistic proficiency, or domain expertise to contribute directly to AI development.Key ResponsibilitiesLabel and annotate diverse data types (text, images, audio, video, or multimodal) according to detailed guidelines.Identify and tag entities, sentiments, intents, objects, actions, relationships, or other features as specified.Review and validate annotations created by peers to ensure consistency and accuracy.Follow complex annotation schemas and adapt to evolving project requirements.Flag ambiguous cases and collaborate with project leads to resolve edge cases.Meet daily/weekly productivity and quality targets (tracked via internal tools).Participate in training sessions and guideline refinement discussions.Required QualificationsHigh attention to detail and strong reading comprehension.Proficiency in EnglishBasic computer literacy (Google Suite, annotation platforms, spreadsheets).Ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.Stable high-speed internet and quiet workspace.Preferred Skills (Not Required)Experience with data annotation tools (e.g., Labelbox, Doccano, CVAT, Appen, Scale).Background in linguistics, computer science, or cognitive science.Familiarity with NLP tasks (NER, sentiment, coreference) or computer vision (bounding boxes, segmentation).Prior work in AI/ML data labeling or crowdsourcing platforms.Performance MetricsAccuracy: ≥98% on quality auditsProductivity: Task-dependent (e.g., 300–600 text units/hour)Consistency: Low disagreement rates in inter-annotator checks
