If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.Role OverviewThe Data Assurance Clerk ensures all customer shipments are complete, compliant, and properly documented before release. This role bridges production, inspection, and customer requirements by verifying certifications, confirming documentation accuracy, and coordinating shipment readiness. The clerk maintains traceability records, manages quality documentation, and supports both internal teams and customer source inspectors to ensure timely, accurate deliveries that meet all contract and regulatory obligations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare shipment packets for completed jobs ready to shipCollect and verify material and process certificationsGenerate appropriate reportsReview purchase orders for required quality documentsUnderstand quality clauses and associated documentsSchedule source inspectionsSubmit and schedule source appointments with customersOrganize documents in a concise and clear formatAssist on-site source inspectorsDirect shipment of jobs when releasedProvide associated paperwork for final shipmentMonitor when permission to ship has been received and consistent follow throughVisually inspect final part marking/labeling and piece countClose completed travelers once job has shippedConfirm all travelers are complete and all stamps are presentSupport 5-S and adhere to health, safety, and environmental company guidelinesPerform cross-functional operationsRequired Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English Ability to read and interpret product specifications and blueprints Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) Effective communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter and able to work independently as well as collaboratively Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to multi-task Ability to learn to perform cross-functional operationsPreferred Skills:Strong understanding of aerospace documentation requirements, including certifications, FAIRs, and quality clausesFamiliarity with customer source inspection processes and appointment schedulingExperience reviewing purchase orders and ensuring documentation completeness prior to shipmentProficiency in ERP and document management systems (JobBOSS, QT9, Smartsheet, or equivalent)Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to communicate clearly with internal departments and external customer representativesWorking knowledge of material certifications, lot traceability, and labeling/marking standardsBasic knowledge of inspection travelers and production flowAbility to prioritize multiple shipments and maintain focus under time-sensitive conditionsCommitment to maintaining 5S standards and supporting cross-functional operationsEducational LevelHigh school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in quality or data management is a plus.Light Aerospace Experience needed. We will train! Great role for an introduction into the quality side of aerospace.Job DetailsType: Full TimeBusiness Hours: First Shift- 10:00am – 6:30pm Monday - FridayBase Salary Range: $19.50 - $25 (based on experience)Base Location: Ontario, CATravel: This role will not require travel typically; some travel may be required- Up to 5% / As needed for Hera Technologies requestYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.The base salary is just one part of your total compensation package at Hera.
