Secure your dream job with one of our prestigious client companies or join our internal team - and take the next step in your career with us!For our client, an international tech company, we are filling the following position with immediate effect in Frankfurt:Data Center Technician (m/f/d)YOUR TASKSPrepares, stages, sets up, and performs startups and shutdowns (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) according to specific instructions, checklists, guides, standard protocols, and emailsPerforms post-execution quality checks and verifies that grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling are set up properly according to safety protocols, deployment standards, and planned Network Design Tasks (NDTs)Performs diagnostics and troubleshooting following standard procedures, quickly identifies the causes of issues, and replaces faulty componentsDecommissions hardware for simple changes and refreshes (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds) following standard procedures with minimal guidanceFollows procedures to communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate Datacenter Technician LeadsYour QualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalentBasic knowledge of computer hardware, servers and componentsFirst experience supporting IT equipment or related technologyBasic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)Strong written and spoken English skills requiredPrevious datacenter experience is requiredBenefits30 days holidayWorking time account with full overtime compensationAttractive employee discounts with numerous top suppliersPermanent contact person during the entire process / assignmentPlease be advised that a valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens.INTERESTED?Then we look forward to receiving your convincing application including salary requirements and earliest starting date via our online portal.
