Data Designer

Data Designer – Business Intelligence & AnalyticsWe are looking for a Data Designer to support the development and modernization of a business-critical data and reporting platform within an agile environment.In this role, you will translate business needs into clear and structured data models, data warehouses, and reporting solutions. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design transformation flows, semantic layers, and reporting structures. You will also contribute to testing, documentation, and user acceptance processes.Key responsibilities:Analyze business requirements and translate them into conceptual data modelsDesign data warehouse and datamart structuresDefine data transformations and data lineageSupport reporting solutions (e.g. dashboards and analytics)Create documentation and test scenariosCollaborate with engineers and business usersImprove data quality and reduce recurring support issuesProfile:Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles (Kimball methodology)Experience in conceptual data modelingGood SQL knowledgeExperience in Agile projectsFluent in EnglishNice to have:Power BI or similar BI toolsAzure or Microsoft data platformsUML knowledgeEnergy or industrial sector experienceContract: long-term assignment (initial 12 months, extension expected)Work mode: hybrid (remote possible)Start: ASAPInterested?anne@bimona.be
