Data Engineer, 18 months contract (Digital Payment/ Fintech)

This is an 18-months contract hire.As a data engineer you will analyze complex data sets to provide insights that drive business decisions. Your role will also involve performing data analysis and present business findings to business stakeholders or leadership to power business decisions.Responsibilities:Understand and analyze complex datasetsCollaborate with BSA, domain teams and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, including ETL pipelines and data visualizationsDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data solutionsBuild BI dashboards based on business requirementsEnsure data security, governance, and compliance with organizational standardsTroubleshoot and debug data gaps, anomalies, and issuesRequirements:Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.Experience in using SQL for data querying & extraction.Experience with programming languages such as Python or JAVAExperience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing and ETL design patternsStrong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologiesExperience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive or Spark will be an added advantage.Experience with cloud platforms will be an added advantage.
