We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Data Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions across the Azure ecosystem advantage is experience with Microsoft Fabric platform. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and solution architects to deliver modern data products that drive actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.The job will offer you opportunities to participate in wide variety of international projects.We are looking for people who share with us the passion that working with data and people is fun and a “mission”, not a “job”.Please note that this position is open only to applicant in Slovakia.Status: Employee contract ( 3500 EUR brutto) or B2B ContractSalary expectation depends on the seniority level and we are open to speak about it.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include: design, implement, and optimize advanced data and analytics solutions on the Azure platform.Design modern data platforms, analytics, and BI solutions using Microsot Azure or Fabric (including OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, etc.)Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical architectures.Guide and support implementation teams in deploying and configuring Microsoft Fabric services.Conduct architecture reviews, assessments, and technical workshops with clients.Provide expert-level technical guidance and thought leadership to clients.Create technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and design patterns.You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures tailored to business needs.Personality requirements and skills3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working with Azure data services.Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Engineering, Lakehouse, Pipelines, and Dataflows.Strong command of SQL and PySpark.Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT methodologies, and data modeling (Kimball/Inmon/Medallion).Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Nice to have experiences in Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure Storage technologies.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentWillingness to visit Bratislava – ad hoc tripsEmployee perks, benefits• You will have an immense opportunity and our support to grow professionally, working on leading cloud projects and cutting edge technologies• You will work in an environment which will stand behind you, support you in your growth, and which will value your work through competitive salary and a bonus structureProfessional growth• Access to the latest technology and know-how• Personalized professional development plans• Young, dynamic and professional team• Potential to work on international projects• Unmatched opportunities for professional growth• Adastra Academy - wide range of leading-edge trainings & certifications, workshops, language coursesInformation about the selection processWe look forward to working with you, and you becoming an Adastran!In case of interest, do not hesitate to send us your Curriculum Vitae.
