Company DescriptionNatixis in Portugal is a Centre of Expertise whose mission is to transform traditional banking by developing innovative solutions for the business, operations and work culture of Groupe BPCE worldwide.As part of Groupe BPCE’s international division, Natixis in Portugal designs and delivers solutions for its two core areas — Corporate & Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management — as well as transversal services that support all entities across the Group.With more than 3,000 employees representing 46 nationalities, the teams work across Information Technology, Banking Support Activities, and Compliance, in an integrated, inclusive, and cross-functional way, supporting all business lines and platforms of the Group.A disruptive mindset and a culture of proximity and agility identify Natixis in Portugal Team and reflect the company's mission to transform traditional banking at a global scale: a perfect match in the Portuguese dynamics and entrepreneurial ecosystem.Job DescriptionNatixis in Portugal is currently seeking a Data Engineer to join its BPCE SI (BPCE Solutions Informatiques) team, within the IT (Information Technologies) department.Responsibilities  Creates and manages complex automated data pipelines from ingestion to analytics.Keeps up with Data Engineering technologies and the latest trends on the topic in order to use these insights to implement new processes and initiatives in the organization.Leads requirements gathering sessions with different stakeholders making sure they are properly translated.Optimizes the performance of the data architecture and data processing pipelines and of data storage and retrieval, while finetuning data processing frameworks and implements caching and indexing strategies.Identifies recurrent incidents and resolve the underlying root cause.Support more junior engineers by sharing knowledge, providing technical guidance, and providing constructive feedback to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes learning and growth.QualificationsMinimum 5 years experience in a Business Intelligence developer role.Solid knowledge on ETL, Data Warehousing and Data Modeling principles.Proficiency in dashboards development with Power BI Tools. Solid knowledge of Power BI (Power Query M and DAX languages).Experience on Tabular modeling SQL Server with Analysis Services (SSAS). Experience interfacing directly with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical tasks.Good written and spoken English level, at least a solid B2. Nice To HaveKnowledge about T-SQL, SSIS, PowerShell scripting, Rest API.Understanding of Power BI Architecture (Desktop application, Workspaces, Apps, Gateway, Analysis Services, SQL Server, Azure).Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps). Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).Experience working in an Agile environment.French level to interact with business.Soft SkillsAutonomy.Good analytical skills.Good communication skills.
