Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our Group Data & Analytics team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining data pipelines, integrations, and the corporate Data Platform (DWH) to support finance, logistics, HR, PLM, and partner systems. The role requires a mix of strong SQL skills, ETL/ELT experience, and the ability to design scalable data solutions for a geographically distributed organization.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes for finance, HR, logistics, PLM, and partner integrations.Build and optimize data pipelines (SQL, Airflow, Python) for structured and unstructured data.Develop and maintain the corporate Data Warehouse (MS SQL Server) with best practices in data modelling (Kimball, Data Vault).Integrate data from multiple sources (ERP IT4Profit, IBM DB2, partner APIs, 3PL providers, CSV/XLSX/XML/JSON).Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, HR, PLM) to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Support and extend microservices and API integrations.Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across all environments.Document solutions and workflows in Confluence, manage tasks in Jira.Requirements:Strong knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2).Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT (Airflow, SSIS, Python-based pipelines).Solid understanding of data modelling (Kimball, Data Vault).Experience with REST API integrations and Python microservices.Familiarity with data exchange formats.Version control with Git.Soft Skills:Ability to work in a distributed team and collaborate across regions.Strong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders.End-to-end ownership of tasks, from requirements to production delivery.Documentation mindset (clear Confluence pages, diagrams, mappings).Proven experience working with ERP/WMS/PLM systems.Hands-on participation in data integration projects (finance, logistics, HR, partner APIs).Track record in supporting reporting systemsNice to Have:• Knowledge of RAG/LLM integrations for data automation and search.• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD).• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI, SupersetWe offer:Opportunity to work for a financially strong, fast-growing multinational company.Constant interaction with global teams of professionals 🎯.International career opportunities 🚀.Access to continuous professional development: training, certification programs, events, and team buildings.Attractive remuneration package.Life events’ gifts, corporate presents and awards, years of service bonuses 🎁.
