Data Engineer

Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with 4–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Logic Apps, and ADLS Gen2, with strong proficiency in SQL and Spark. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can work independently and make sound technical decisions to support data-driven business initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Logic Apps.Develop, optimize, and manage data storage solutions within Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2).Write and optimize complex SQL and Spark queries to ensure high performance and data accuracy.Integrate and orchestrate data across various cloud and on-premise sources.Collaborate with business and analytics teams to define data requirements and deliver reliable, high-quality datasets.Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company and industry standards.Troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and implement improvements in data workflows.Document technical designs, workflows, and operational procedures.Required Skills & Experience:4–8 years of professional experience in data engineering or data platform development.Proven working experience with:Azure Synapse AnalyticsAzure Logic AppsAzure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2)Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL and Spark for data transformation and analytics.Solid understanding of Azure cloud architecture and related services.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of making independent decisions.Good to Have:Experience or working knowledge of Azure Databricks.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and data governance frameworks.Exposure to data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).How to Apply:Please submit your CV through Linkedin or send CV to recruitment@eraiasia.com
