We are looking for an exceptional Software Engineer, who is open to data analytics, to be an integral member of the Core Platforms team. You will work closely with trading and risk managers to provide Risk and PnL information, in both real time and EOD. This position has high visibility across the business and exposure to every part of the trading lifecycle. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and commitment to effective problem resolution.The Role:Building the core Risk and PnL systemWorking in both C++ and PythonRisk and PnL reconciliation with internal or external partiesDirect interaction with Risk Managers and Trading DesksYour present skillset:2+ years of experience of front-office trading desk-aligned roleGood knowledge of PythonGood knowledge of object-oriented development skills (C++ preferable)Experience with Relational Database (SQL Server, Postgres)Ability to multitask, diagnose faults and remedy under time pressureGood knowledge of execution lifecycles and instrument lifecycles (such as corporate actions, settlement, bond coupons, swap resets) is highly desirableGood knowledge of different asset classes is highly desirableExperience with data reconciliationExcellent data analytical and problem-solving skillsTeam player with excellent communication skills While a resume is preferable we also welcome tentative inquiries from well-qualified persons.
