Data Engineer – Informatica (Egypt)

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer with strong experience in Informatica and data operations to join our team in Egypt. If you are passionate about data, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment—this role is for you. ⸻ 🔹 Key Responsibilities • Develop and optimize ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and related Informatica tools. • Integrate and manage data from ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, and legacy systems. • Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across data processes. • Collaborate with business teams, analysts, and architects to deliver data-driven solutions. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing workflows. • Support data governance, security, and compliance initiatives. • Document data flows, architectures, and operational procedures. ⸻ 🔹 Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data operations. • Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud / IDQ. • Strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge. • Experience with ETL/ELT methods, data modeling, and data transformation. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. ⸻ 🔹 Preferred Skills • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. • Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and data security. • Scripting experience (Python, Shell). • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). ⸻ 🔹 What We Offer • Full-time role based in Egypt. • Fast-paced, collaborative work environment. • Opportunities for continuous learning and development.
