Data Engineer

Location: Remote (LATAM)Compensation: $3,200 - $3,800 USD/month (based on experience)Type: Full-time ContractorDescriptionWe're looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in ETL/ELT pipelines and document processing to build a scalable data infrastructure that powers AI solutions.You'll ensure our AI systems have access to clean, reliable data and work directly with US-based teams to integrate data into production environments.What You’ll Be DoingDevelop ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and prepare data at scaleDeploy and manage data infrastructure on AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, Bedrock, etc.)Implement experiment tracking and monitoring for AI model performanceCollaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate data into production systemsCommunicate with US-based clients and teams in English on technical requirements and progressCommunicate effectively in English with U.S.-based clients and teammatesWhat We’re Looking ForMust-have3+ years of professional experience in data engineeringProven background developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelinesHands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure on AWSBachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or Software EngineeringIntermediate English level (B2) for direct, daily client communicationStrong problem-solving mindset and attention to detailProven ability to work remotely and autonomouslyFull-time availability (40 hours/week)Nice-to-haveExperience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) or AI agentic systemsFamiliarity with AI/ML pipelines and document processing workflowsKnowledge of AWS Bedrock or other LLM infrastructure servicesWhat we offerPayment in US Dollars100% remote position — work from anywhere in LATAMFlexible PTOProfessional growth opportunitiesA collaborative, supportive teamHow to applySend your CV (and GitHub if available) to talent@kommit.coSubject line: Data Engineer
