Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our analytics and data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures using Azure Data Services, Databricks, Python, and Power BI. You’ll play a key role in designing scalable data solutions that support business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.Build and optimize data models for analytics and reporting.Develop and manage data lake and data warehouse solutions on Azure (ADLS, Synapse, SQL Database, etc.).Write efficient and scalable Python code for data transformation, automation, and integration tasks.Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to deliver Power BI dashboards and self-service analytics.Implement data governance, data quality, and security best practices.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across data systems.Contribute to CI/CD automation and DevOps for data engineering using Azure DevOps or similar tools.Required Skills & Experience:5–9 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data ecosystem — including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics.Strong Python programming skills for data manipulation, automation, and integration.Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures).Experience building Power BI datasets, dataflows, and reports.Familiarity with Delta Lake, Spark, and data pipeline orchestration.Knowledge of data modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and ETL/ELT design principles.Understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
