Data Engineer (Temporary position)

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team on a temporary basis.In this position your key responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsInterpreting data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reportsIdentifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data setsFiltering and “cleaning” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problemsWorking with management to prioritize business and information needsLocating and defining new process improvement opportunitiesPreparation of reports / presentations highlighting appropriate analysis and findingsRequirements for the job:Proven working experience as a Data EngineerTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniquesKnowledge of and experience with reporting package PowerBI, SQL databases and Python programmingKnowledge of DatabricksKnowledge of Azure is an assetKnowledge of PySpark and Spark SQL is an assetStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsAbility to take ownership and to work autonomously within an end-to-end perspectiveStrong communication skills, solution driven and highly motivatedProactive attitude, co-operative approach and willingness to work in a teamExcellent language skills in English, other languages are an advantageBachelor or Master in Computer Science, Information Management or equivalent work experience.I am Atradius! - Do you want to know who we are?Get to know Atradius colleagues in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnsgT04OpTU&t=4sAtradius Collections Atradius Collections provides efficient, quick and flexible solutions to collect domestic and international trade debts.
