We’re always looking for the best and brightest team players to join us.This role is responsible for designing, building, and overseeing the deployment of data solutions to capture, manage, store, and utilize structured and unstructured data from various sources. Additionally, this role will be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation of test plans, test cases, and testing results for our data pipelines.ResponsibilitiesDevelops, evaluates, and tests solutions designed to transform raw data into valuable and usable data assets.Establishes and builds processes and structures to integrate data from multiple sources, process appropriately, and materialize in an enterprise data warehouse.Fully documents each component of a data asset, capturing source freshness and monitoring for incidents, issues, failures, discrepancies, and anomalies. Maintains data catalog and regularly solicits feedback from stakeholders to assess the impact our data assets have on the business.Leverages technical tools and ecosystems to cleanse, organize, and transform data and to maintain, monitor, and update data structures and integrity on an automated basis.Works within our governance framework to discover, tag, and anonymize personal data and audits data usage and access history.Follows established design standards and assurance processes for development to ensure usability and trust for our end-to-end data pipelines.Collaborates with business and product stakeholders to review requirements, make recommendations, and facilitate communication to ensure maximum business value of our data assets.Follows scrum methodology and works closely with DevOps and software development teams when necessary.Who We’re Looking ForBachelor's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required.Requires 2+ years of related experience.Solid understanding of ELT concepts including data testing, documentation, semantic modeling, materialization, versioning, orchestration, and deployment.Previous experience with dbt (or similar development framework) and working knowledge of associated conventions, best-practices, and industry trends.Familiarity with data governance obligations including access control, handling sensitive data (PII) and usage monitoring, as well as compliance with data privacy legislation (CCPA and GDPR).Experience with different file types (CSV, JSON, Parquet, XML, etc.), compression algorithms, collation types, and character sets.Foundational knowledge and understanding of the Thryv SaaS and Thryv Marketing solutions with the ability to exhibit product knowledge and digital experience to build client enthusiasm and confidence.Flexible and able to accommodate shifting priorities; willingness to collaborate with stakeholders and facilitate technical discussions to drive data literacy and highlight the business value of insight gained from analytics.Highly skilled in SQL and experience working with yaml files, Python, JavaScript, Scala, etc. Experience with REST API integrations is preferred.Ability to use relational database management systems with a working knowledge of common methods of data validation.Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.What we offerLife requires balance.
