Be part of a team that’s shaping the future of digital innovation.What You Will Be DoingCollaborating with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into data acquisition and extraction processes that enhance our data model and business solutions.Designing and implementing data pipelines and data stores to acquire, process, and prepare data.Designing operational data stores to integrate data from multiple sources to support data pipelines and enable additional operations on the data.Installing, configuring, and maintaining data processing systems.Monitoring and optimizing system performance and scalability.Ensuring the security and integrity of data.Properly documenting all solutions and processes.Working on data ingestion and transformation using Kafka and/or Postgres.What We Expect From YouExperience: 5+ years of proven experience working as a Data Engineer, Software EngineerDatabases & Transformation: Solid experience in relational and NoSQL databases, with a focus on data transformation using PostgreSQLPython Skills: Strong Python programming skills focused on data processing.Software Development: familiar with the SDLC, the concept of acceptance criteria, and test-driven developmentSQL Expertise: Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.Data Warehousing: Solid understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and ETL/ELT concepts.Version Control & CI/CD: Experience using GitHub for version control and collaborative development, including familiarity with CI/CD pipeline.Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in English.Nice To HaveIndustry Knowledge: Experience in the Financial Services or Fintech industry.Regulatory Experience: Background in working within regulated environments.Streaming & Real-Time Processing: Experience in reading and processing data from Kafka or similar streaming platforms, as well as event-driven architecture and real-time data pipelines.Agile Tools: Familiarity with agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Miro.
