Data Engineer

A defense company in Northern Israel is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Platforms team and take part in developing cutting-edge data solutions. The role includes full responsibility for data ingestion, processing, and analysis workflows, as well as developing data-driven applications on top of Splunk including dashboards, analytics, and alerting capabilities. What you’ll doDesign and implement data pipelines, ensuring reliable and high-quality data flow between systems.Develop and apply business logic in Splunk, including dashboards, visualizations, advanced analytics, and alerts.Maintain and optimize Linux-based environments, including installation, upgrades, and configuration.Integrate with external systems via APIs and dedicated interfaces. What we’re looking forProven experience as a Data Engineer, with hands-on work in ETL processes, data pipelines, and system integrations.Strong background working in Linux environments.Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.Experience developing data-driven applications — dashboards, reports, analytics, or monitoring tools.Experience with Splunk – a strong advantage.Familiarity with additional analytics technologies (e.g., ELK, Grafana, Power BI) – an advantage.Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field – an advantage.
