Everyone brings something unique to WSP and that's something we value, we want to encourage curiosity, new ideas fuel innovation.At WSP we positively encourage applications from qualified and eligible candidates, regardless of gender, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, pregnancy, or maternity/paternity.Ready to get started?With us you can.About This OpportunityWe are looking for a Data Extraction Analyst – to join our regional team.This position will support the extraction, cleansing, and validation of data from legacy platforms (Finance, HR, Projects, Procurement, and Sales) across all countries in the region.The analyst will collaborate closely with regional and global teams to ensure data integrity throughout the transformation program and will also support management control and analytical reporting during the migration process.Overall accountabilityThe Data Extraction Analyst is responsible for executing data extraction and cleansing tasks with accuracy and consistency, supporting validation and reporting activities, and providing analytical insights to assist in the program’s decision-making process.ResponsibilitiesData Extraction & Cleansing Extract data from multiple legacy systems (Finance, HCM, Projects, Procurement, and Sales) across all countries in the region. Perform data cleansing, standardization, and validation to ensure data quality and readiness for migration. Document data mapping, extraction logic, and validation results. Support issue tracking and resolution related to data inconsistencies or missing information. Coordinate with data owners and functional leads to ensure alignment on data definitions and requirements.Data Validation & Analysis Assist in data reconciliation and verification during testing and post-migration activities. Prepare reports and visual summaries to monitor data quality, completeness, and transformation progress. Support management control and KPI tracking, providing analytical insights to Finance and Program teams. Identify potential improvements or risks in the data structure that could affect reporting or system integration.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with other regional analysts, global data teams, and functional leads to ensure smooth information flow. Follow program standards for data governance, documentation, and confidentiality. Contribute to the creation of templates, checklists, or standard operating procedures for data extraction. Participate in meetings and workshops as needed to support data readiness and validation activities.Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or business control, preferably in large or multinational organizations. Experience in data extraction or migration from ERP or legacy platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, BST, or similar). Understanding of financial and management control concepts (budgeting, KPIs, variance analysis). Solid skills in Excel, Power BI, or SQL for data handling and reporting. Detail-oriented mindset with analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, or SharePoint.
