Data Governance Lead – Asset & Investment Management We’re partnering with a high-performing investment manager to hire a hands-on Data Governance Lead. This role will play a critical part in building and embedding governance practices across research, AI, risk, and execution data – enabling high-quality, scalable data products that support the front office, risk, and operations teams.What you’ll do:Establish and run a data governance framework (discovery, sourcing, delivery, permissioning, stewardship).Oversee data acquisition and due diligence, ensuring compliance, quality, and business fit.Define and enforce standards for data normalization, classification, metadata, and lineage across multi-asset data.Manage sensitive data, access controls, and usage metering.Partner with data engineering to support modern architectures (Databricks, Azure, Snowflake).Champion governance principles and act as the bridge between business stakeholders and data teams.What we’re looking for:Strong track record in data governance, quality, or management within asset management, hedge funds, or multi-asset financial institutions.Deep understanding of buy-side workflows (front office, risk, middle office).Experience with multi-asset class data (equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternatives).Familiarity with modern data platforms and governance tools.Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements.This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who wants to shape data governance in a fast-paced, high-calibre investment environment.Base Compensation Range: $250,000
