Data Governance Manager

Role: MDM ExpertPractice: KPMG, Lighthouse Summary: 9-15 years of relevant functional and technical expertise in Reference Data Management (RDM) and Master Data Management (MDM). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing MDM solutions using market-leading tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Ataccama, and a deep understanding of match-merge, survivorship, cross-reference, and MDM operating models.Role: Master Data ManagementLocation: Bengaluru, Mumbai, GurugoanExprience: 9 to 16 yearsJOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, implement, and maintain MDM and RDM solutions aligned with business needs.Define and execute data governance and data quality strategies.Configure and manage match-merge rules, survivorship logic, and cross-reference mappings to ensure creation of golden records.Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define MDM operating models and implementation styles (registry, consolidation, coexistence, centralized).Develop and maintain data models, metadata, and data lineage documentation.Support data integration, cleansing, and migration activities.Monitor and improve data quality metrics and reporting.Provide training and support to data stewards and business users.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in MDM and data governance. Work Experience:Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management and Reference Data Management.Proven experience implementing MDM solutions using Informatica, Talend, or Ataccama.Strong understanding of match & merge, survivorship, cross-reference, and source system ranking.Experience working with data governance frameworks, data stewardship models and data quality tools.Familiarity with MDM Modernization will be a advantageExposure to cloud-native MDM deployments and integration with enterprise systems is desirable.Client-facing Big4 Consulting experience will be considered a plus Education or Certifications:Bachelor's / Master's degree in engineering/technology/other related degrees.Relevant certifications from Collibra/Informatica/Talend/Ataccama and/or other leading platforms is a mustRelevant certifications from DAMA, EDM Council and CMMI-DMM will be a bonus
