This freelance role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact by shaping the company’s data governance, quality, and lineage capabilities within a dynamic, international environment.You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, the Data Office, and technology teams—translating strategy into actionable data solutions while fostering a culture of data excellence. The mission: to lead the development, communication, and delivery of scalable data management capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate data management operations covering data quality, lineage, and marketplace tools.Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for data management and governance.Promote Collibra adoption and champion data-driven practices across teams.Partner with business and digital technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and operational success.Provide expert advice on data governance strategy and implementation.ProfileMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Business Engineering, or a related field.3–8 years’ experience in data governance or data management (minimum 3 years required).Proven success in leading data management projects and operating technology solutions.Strong understanding of data lineage, data products, master/reference data, and data quality.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Fluent in English; French or Dutch a plus.DesirableExperience in large corporate environments.Familiarity with Collibra (certification or willingness to obtain).Project management certification is an asset.
