Data Platform Engineer

Would you like join a team that builds a cloud native enterprise data platform?As a Platform Engineer at Lufthansa Systems Hungária, you will have the opportunity to work on an integrated airline data platform in the Azure cloud that provides a framework of PaaS services to data projects running in different areas of the airline domain. Your task will be maintaining, developing and securing cloud-based infrastructure, creating automation solutions, and gaining new knowledge through challenging technical tasks.Your responsibilities will coverImplementing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure using Terraform.Building tools, integrations and CI/CD pipelines to help application development teams be more efficient.Contribution to the evolution of the platform by enriching existing platform services and introducing new services.Supporting operations and DevOps teams using the platform in problem resolution and solution implementation.Monitoring and troubleshooting the platform components.Conducting performance analysis and system tuning.You will use the following technologies/toolsAzure PaaS services: Databricks, Data Factory, Storage Account, Azure Machine Learning Workspace, Key Vault, Container Registry, AKS, etc.Azure Networking, Linux and Windows VM’s.Azure DevOps repos and pipelines.Scripting languages such as Bash and Python.Terraform for infrastructure management.You are looking for us if you haveExperience working with at least one of the major public cloud providers.General software development knowledge, being familiar with at least one scripting language (bash, Python, etc.).User level knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.Experience with the Git version control system.Basic networking knowledge.
