Job Title: Data QA Engineer / Data Quality AnalystLocation: BangaloreExperience: 6–9 YearsI. Job SummaryThe Data QA Engineer will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining overall data quality across the Risk and Compliance Data Platform. The role involves working closely with data engineering, analytics, and DevOps teams to test, certify, and monitor data flows and transformations while proactively identifying and resolving quality issues.II. Roles & ResponsibilitiesValidate complex data pipelines to ensure end-to-end data accuracy and reliability. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and transformation testing across systems. Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to test and certify ETL workflows. Identify data anomalies and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues. Build and enhance automated test frameworks for data quality assurance. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement and sprint planning. Prepare detailed defect reports and test summaries for stakeholders. Support deployment validation and post-release verification. III. Years Of Experience6–9 Years of relevant experience in Data QA, Data Validation, or ETL Testing.IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional)Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications in AWS, SQL, or Data Engineering are a plus. Must HaveV. Skill Set Required:Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL for data validation and analysis. Experience testing data transformations using ETL tools (preferably Informatica). Working knowledge of DevOps tools for automation and deployment validation. Exposure to data modeling concepts and their impact on data quality. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence. Nice To HaveExperience with Snowflake and AWS Cloud environments. Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation. Familiarity with data quality frameworks or validation tools.
