Design, develop and implement SQL scripts to perform QA on the data marts and output results as per the data requirements and data mapping. Perform data quality checks on incoming and outgoing data to identify data anomalies or discrepancies. Collaborate with data engineering, data science, business function teams and vendors to understand the data requirements, identify and troubleshoot data issues to complete the QA and resolve data issues / discrepancies in a timely manner. Track and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle using Jira and/or any defect tracking tool. Provide regular reports on defect status, testing progress, and data quality metrics to project stakeholders. Assess and perform data mapping to ensure seamless integration of various data sources in the data warehouse, with data consistency and accuracy. With a start-up mentality and able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on and results oriented environment. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends and methodology in data quality assurance, testing and defects management.The Must-Haves3+ years of experience in data QA and experience with designing, planning and implementing test scenarios and QA processes. Proficient in SQL and experience with data querying and analysis. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.Experience with Jira or relevant project tracking tools.Excellent team player, goal oriented, good communication and negotiation skills. Strong data analysis, data verification and problem solving abilities. Strong understanding of Data Development Life Cycle and Testing Life Cycle, Concepts and Methodologies. Keen eye to detail and have solid initiative to raise alarms when necessary. Strong business acumen, inherent curiosity about data, stakeholder.management and project management skills to prioritise & manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment.
