Data Science Officer

Title: Data Science OfficerThe Data Science Officer will apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to drive smarter decision-making and optimize supply chain performance. This role is key to enhancing forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and supply agility across the value chain.Develop, test, and deploy statistical and machine learning models to solve business challenges.Conduct end-to-end data analysis: data gathering, cleaning, exploration, visualization, and storytelling.Collaborate with planners, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and tech teams to translate data into actionable insights.Identify trends and bottlenecks in supply chain operations and recommend improvements.Support automation and optimization initiatives through analytics.Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ensure data quality and scalability in partnership with Data Engineering teams.Document methodologies and stay updated with emerging data science technologies.Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field.Master’s degree or certification in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI is an advantage.Minimum 1 year in data science, analytics, or related roles.Experienced performing statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning.Exposure to domains like demand forecasting, pricing, marketing analytics, or operations optimization.Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), ERP systems (SAP, Anaplan), and data pipeline concepts.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Willing to be assigned on a hybrid setup in Ortigas, Pasig.Zenith Foods Corporation, Inc., the hiring entity, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jollibee Foods Corporation.
