Data Science Specialist

We’re looking for a passionate and talented Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you’ll have the chance to roll up your sleeves and apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business situations across a variety of topics ActivitiesApply data workflow tasks as extraction, mining, preparation, quality control, KPI optimization, modelling, validation and business insight consideration.Apply advanced analytics techniques in a big data paradigm considering multiple data sourcesDevelop and deploy machine/deep learning models applied to cross-functional use cases to increase customer value or operational efficiency. Preferred QualificationsA Master’s Degree in a highly quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, etc.) or equivalent experience2+ years of industry experience in predictive modeling, data science and analysisFluent in data wrangling and preparation: exploratory analysis, profiling & cleansing, feature selection, feature engineering, segmentation, clustering and PCAStrong working knowledge on programming languages as Python, SQL, R, data science libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost) and MLOps tools (Git, Airflow, Kubernetes)Experience using ML/DP libraries, such as scikit-learn, caret, mlr, mllib, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorchExperience with cloud resources, usage of IDE (PyCharm, visualbasic) and version control systems (git) are highly valuedExperience working with GPUs to develop modelsPreferred experience with Natural Language and Cognitive applicationsDemonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsFluent in Italian and EnglishFamiliarity with digital marketing or advertising is a plus
