It involves curating, processing, and transforming large datasets to ensure they are accurate, consistent, and suitable for program-wide analysis and decision-making. This person will independently apply the full data curation lifecycle, including assessment, cleaning, storage structuring, and optimization to enhance long-term usability. The position requires advanced data quality improvements and the development of innovative techniques to maximize the value of critical program data. You will independently work extensively with artificial intelligence technologies, including large language models, agent-based systems, and generative artificial intelligence applications. You will develop solutions using Python and modern data platforms to refine and improve complex datasets. The role also involves supporting strategies for preparing, aligning, and leveraging large program datasets to enable accurate insights and informed policy deliberations.Join us. The world can’t wait.You Have:2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis2+ years of experience applying comprehensive data curation processes, including assessment, cleaning, storage structuring, and advanced optimization, and evaluating organizational data to support major program analysis and decision processesExperience working with artificial intelligence, large language models, and agent-based, generative, and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers, and building and deploying models using platforms such as AWS SageMakerExperience with data visualization and statistical analysis tools commonly used in data science such as Pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, and SQLKnowledge of Python-based data engineering techniques and modern data platform environments such as Databricks, including building ETL/ELT pipelines, transforming large datasets using Pyspark, and automating data workflows in cloud notebookAbility to analyze structured and unstructured data sources, and develop predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization to produce actionable resultsAbility to facilitate focus group meetings with various levels of stakeholders and senior leadershipSecret clearanceBachelor's degree in Data Science or Analytics and 2+ years of experience with data science, or 6+ years of experience with data science in lieu of degreeNice If You Have:2+ years of experience with the DoD or militaryExperience supporting large defense-related programs or policy review initiativesExperience with advanced automation of data cleaning and preparation workflowsExperience with modern artificial intelligence platforms and emerging generative artificial intelligence techniquesExperience supporting organizational decision-making through advanced data analysisAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical findings to non-technical audiencesDatabricks Engineering CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
