Data Scientist

We are looking for a senior Data Scientist:Hybrid Amsterdam Full-Time WorkingDuration: 6 Months + ExtensionsEmployed Only (Sponsorship Available)Context:Work cross-functionally with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and UX Designers to define problems and deliver ML solutions that create measurable customer value.Build, deploy, and iterate on production-grade ML models—especially recommendation systems—using strong foundations in ML theory, statistics, and deep learning.Analyze large datasets to identify patterns; apply learn-to-rank and (bonus) reinforcement learning techniques where suitable.Lead A/B testing initiatives end-to-end; interpret results rigorously and understand test limitations.Own the full ML lifecycle from experimentation to productionization and monitoring, with a proven track record of successful deployments.Stay current with advances in data science to keep solutions state-of-the-art.Tech stack highlights: Python (strong), SQL (data manipulation), GCP experience is a plus.Top 3 must-haves:5+ years of hands-on experience delivering production ML solutions.Solid understanding of ML fundamentals and deep learning.Proven end-to-end model deployment experience (from design to production and maintenance).If interested, or you know someone that could be, please reach out and we can discuss?
