Mission DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Data Engineer/Scientist with strong technical abilities and specific domain expertise in finance and insurance to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in leveraging data to enhance risk assessment, refine pricing strategies, detect fraud, improve customer segmentation, and boost operational efficiency. This role demands a profound understanding of financial modeling, insurance products, and regulatory frameworks.Key Responsibilities*  Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines across the entire data lifecycle.*  Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights critical to financial and insurance operations.*  Collaborate closely with actuarial, finance, and underwriting teams to improve data models and the overall data landscape.*  Develop and maintain intuitive dashboards and reporting tools to empower data-driven decision-making across various departments.*  Ensure strict adherence to data governance, privacy regulations, and industry standards.*  Clearly communicate findings and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Your ProfileRequired Qualifications*  Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field.*  Proven professional experience within the finance or insurance industry, ideally in a data science or data engineering capacity.*  Strong programming skills in SQL, SAS, or similar languages.*  Solid understanding of data architecture, data warehousing solutions, ETL processes, and business intelligence principles.*  Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as SAS Visual Analytics or Power BI*  Solid knowledge of financial metrics, insurance products, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., Solvency II).*  Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel (including VBA)*  Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages such as French or German is a strong advantage.*  Experience in actuarial modeling or collaborating directly with actuarial teams.*  Practical experience in deploying and maintaining models in production environments.Key SkillsData Science, Data Engineering, ETL, SQL, SAS, Power BI, Finance, Insurance, Risk Assessment, Data Modeling, Solvency II.
