As a Data Scientist within our client’s environment, you will play a key role in designing and delivering advanced analytical solutions that support critical operations and strategic initiatives.Design and implement advanced data science solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniquesDevelop predictive and analytical models to support areas such as safety analytics, operational performance, and energy efficiencyTranslate complex operational or strategic challenges into scalable data-driven modelsCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technical specialists, operational stakeholders, and IT professionalsApply best practices in model development, validation, testing, and deploymentContribute to the adoption of modern data science tools, frameworks, and methodologies across the teamKey Areas of WorkYou will be involved in a variety of analytical initiatives where advanced analytics and AI can deliver measurable impact.Security and risk analytics aimed at improving safety and infrastructure monitoringPredictive modeling to optimize operational performance and reliabilityEnergy consumption analysis to support sustainability and efficiency initiativesExploration of generative AI use cases to enhance processes and operational decision-makingDevelopment of strategic models to support data-driven planning and optimizationProfile & Required SkillsOur client is seeking an experienced data science professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders.Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in data science with a proven track record delivering solutions in industrial or operational environmentsStrong knowledge of programming languages commonly used in data science (such as Python or similar)Solid understanding of machine learning, advanced analytics techniques, and model lifecycle managementExperience deploying machine learning or AI models into production environmentsProven experience working with cloud-based platforms for large-scale data analytics projectsAbility to translate complex business challenges into actionable analytical solutionsStrong communication and presentation skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWillingness to work on-site part of the week in collaboration with the broader teamLanguage requirements: English and Dutch.
