Empowering companies to transact, communicate and engage with their customers free of fear, Continuous Trust makes the promise of the digital economy possible.Join us as a Data Scientist, if you are interested in:helping protect a worldwide application by preventing fraud and abuse,contributing to the end-to-end ML model lifecycle, with opportunities for ownership,working with modern technologies,building models actively used by customers that drive real business impact,continuously expanding your technical and domain expertise,and fostering a culture of learning.Key ResponsibilitiesApply and develop machine learning techniques;Identify relevant data sources (based on internal and external data);Actively bring and promote new innovative ideas to develop and/or enhance the company’s data/data science products/offerings;Analyze data for trends and patterns and interpret data with a clear business objective in mind;Take the initiative to experiment with various technologies and tools with a vision of creating innovative data-driven insights for the business;Implement mathematical/ML models and patterns into production by collaborating with software developers and data engineers;Ensure quality and robustness of data science solutions using standard testing approaches and statistical analyses.Essential RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or quantitative discipline/field;2+ years of industry experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Quantitative research or Applied mathematics or 4+ years of academic research experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline;Proficient in Python and its data science ecosystem (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn,…). Experience with Scala is a plus;Solid understanding of machine learning methodologies, algorithms and statistical modelling principles;Experience translating business problems into data science solutions and clearly communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders;Excellent research skills and ability to learn new skills;Attention to detail and ability to consider tasks from multiple angles to produce robust analyses;Excellent cooperative skills and ability to work in a team environment/team player;Strong ability to work in an autonomous environment;Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Serbian.Preferred RequirementsExperience with Databricks and/or Spark, as well as AWS (or other) cloud services; experience with ETL techniques and workloads;Software development experience with OO languages (Python, Scala, …).We are offeringGood compensation - Competitive € salary plus benefits package.Development opportunities.Challenging but also a friendly working environment.And much, much more...About Proximus GlobalProximus Global, combining the strengths of Telesign, BICS, and Route Mobile, is transforming the future of communications and digital identity.
