This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible business impact, with the freedom to innovate, explore diverse data sources, and drive change through advanced analytics.The RoleAs a Data Scientist, you will join our well-functioning BIA department, which is defined by their quick adaptation to changes and eagerness to bring value to the organization. Your focus will be on creating statistical models, running machine learning projects, and building automated, scalable data solutions that improve decision-making across the company and assist in automating recurring functions in the BIA team. You’ll work closely with Commercial, SEO, and Tech teams to turn raw data into clear, actionable insights.This is an on-site role based in Copenhagen, offering a highly collaborative environment with a strong data culture.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain advanced analytical models using Python, R, and other relevant tools.Perform predictive modelling, regression analysis, A/B testing, and time series forecasting to support marketing, SEO, and business decisions.Integrate and analyse data from multiple sources, including: Google BigQuery / Google Analytics / Google Search Console, Affiliate network platforms & Web and clickstream dataPartner with Commercial and SEO teams to uncover trends and identify growth opportunities, including user journey analysis.Design and present clear visualisations and dashboards in Power BI (or Tableau if needed) for both technical and non-technical audiences.Collaborate with the Tech team to productionise data pipelines and automate processes.Champion best practices in data science and help upskill colleagues across the organisation.Stay current with new AI tools, statistical methods, and automation techniques, bringing innovative thinking into everyday business practices.Who You AreAs a person, you have strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to translate complex data into business value.You have a strong business acumen, especially in performance marketing, SEO, affiliate marketing, or iGaming sectors is a strong plus.Furthermore, you are comfortable presenting insights to stakeholders across Commercial, marketing, SEO, and product teams.You have demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects from start to finish.Required Skills & QualificationsSkilled in data visualisation using Power BI or Tableau, and expert-level SQL for querying and transforming data; experience with BigQuery is a plus.3+ years of experience in data science or a similar analytical role, with strong proficiency in Python and/or R for statistical analysis and modelling.Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and integrating web analytics into broader data workflows.Proven ability to deploy machine learning models in production, with a solid understanding of A/B testing frameworks and causal inference methods.Familiarity with SEO strategies and user journey data is highly valuable for conducting correlation and behavioral analysis.We OfferAt Traffic Lab, we value our employees and provide perks and benefits.
