Data Security Analyst

JOB SUMMARY Support the business in maintaining data loss prevention controls to monitor, detect and prevent unauthorized access and/or distribution of data. Protect the Bank’s digital information from unauthorized access or theft. This role required technical skills in managing solutions.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Installation, configuration, and maintenance of data related security systems, not limited to: - Data Loss Prevention - Database Activity Monitoring - Secure Web Gateway / Web Proxy - Cryptographic Controls - Privilege Access Management -Removable media peripheral controlsInvestigate and respond to data breaches or security incidents.Ensure compliance with internal and external policies relating to data security.Identifies and manages potential security risks and governance issues and develops remediation\treatment action plans to nullify the risk or mitigate the risk to an acceptable level.Improve information security documentation and develop a set of best practices for the data protection program.Contribute to the preparation of reports to various management committees.Research and evaluate new solutions to provide recommendations in keeping the company’s systems up to date with current threats and trends.Manages SLA and contract renewals with solution vendors.JOB REQUIREMENT Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or a related field.At least 7 years’ experience in Technology 5 years working experience with data security or related domainExpertise in at least 2 of these solutions; PAM, DLP, DAM, SWG, Cryptography Experience in working in a regulated environment such as Financial ServicesGood understanding of general IT and network securityCertifications desired; CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Lead ImplementerAbility to anticipate problems, identify solutions and address issues creatively. Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize work in an organized manner and to work with minimal supervision. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with peers.
