Data Solution Architect

We are seeking a Data Solution Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale, data-driven solutions.You will work with clients and internal teams to define data strategies, build scalable platforms, and enable advanced analytics, AI/ML, and cloud-native architectures. This is a client-facing role that requires deep technical expertise, architectural vision, and strong communication skills. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define solution requirements and translate them into scalable architecturesDesign and implement end-to-end data solutions across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)Lead architecture design sessions, create documentation and provide guidance to engineering teamsSupport pre-sales activities, including solution design, technical proposals and effort estimationsDrive best practices in data governance, security and cost optimizationMentor teams and oversee solution delivery from design through to go-liveStay ahead of industry trends in data, ML/MLOps, and emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, LLMs) Requirements10+ years of enterprise data experience, with a strong background in data architecture, big data and cloud solutionsHands-on expertise with modern data platforms, pipelines and warehousing solutionsExperience with AI/ML development and MLOps pipelinesStrong knowledge of data governance, security, and complianceProficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java)Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with proven experience in client-facing rolesAbility to lead cross-functional teams and drive architectural vision Nice to haveExperience with GenAI and LLM-based architecturesFamiliarity with enterprise metadata management toolsKnowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud platformsExperience with high-load, real-time, or IoT data solutions We offerBy choosing EPAM, you're getting a job at one of the most loved workplaces according to Newsweek 2021 & 2022&2023.Employee ideas are the main driver of our business.
