Data Strategy and Business Development (Expertise / Senior Expertise)

Job Summary:PTG Energy is seeking a strategic and analytically driven leader to join our data leadership team. This high-impact role will shape and drive the enterprise-wide data strategy across PTG’s diverse portfolio—spanning both our core Oil & Gas operations and expanding Non-Oil sectors including Retail, Food & Beverage, Logistics, and Services.Reporting directly to the CDO, you will act as a key business partner to senior leadership, translating data into actionable insights, commercial opportunities, and strategic initiatives that accelerate business growth and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Support the execution of PTG’s data strategy roadmap and identify high-impact data initiatives across Oil and Non-Oil businesses.Partner with business units to define data-driven use cases for revenue growth, cost optimization, and customer engagement.Conduct market, customer, and operational analyses to uncover new commercial opportunities and strategic insights.Collaborate with CoE teams (Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science) to ensure analytical outputs align with business objectives.Develop business cases, financial models, and KPI dashboards to measure the impact of strategic initiatives.Translate data findings into actionable insights and communicate clearly with business and executive stakeholders.Support cross-functional working teams in project planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution monitoring.Drive adoption of data-driven decision-making across PTG’s business units.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).5–8 years of experience in business analysis, data strategy, or commercial development.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven business acumen.Experience working with BI and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python/R).Ability to synthesize complex data into business-friendly insights and recommendations.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong presentation and storytelling ability to influence senior management.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in multi-business or conglomerate environments (energy, retail, logistics, or F&B).Background in management consulting, corporate strategy, or analytics-driven business roles.Familiarity with customer lifecycle analytics, loyalty programs, or digital ecosystem data.Passion for driving organizational transformation through data and innovation.
