Data Testing Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTIONDesign, develop, and test systems or new features to ensure high-quality deliverables.Create and manage detailed development plans and timelines to meet project milestones.Research and apply emerging technologies to improve data testing and automation processes.Participate in company-organized training programs to enhance technical and professional skills.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Software Testing, ideally with a focus on data systems or pipelines.Data Expertise: Strong understanding of data structures, databases, and end-to-end data processing workflows.Project Experience: Proven experience with Data Warehouse or Data Lake projects, including the ability to design test strategies, create test plans, and develop data validation test cases.SQL Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing complex queries for data validation.ETL & Data Quality: Solid grasp of data quality management, data governance, and ETL testing concepts.Data Analysis: Capable of analyzing and interpreting datasets to identify errors, inconsistencies, or performance issues.Test Automation: Experience in building, maintaining, and executing automated testing frameworks for data workflows.API & Performance Testing: Skilled in API testing, performance testing, and test automation for APIs.Tools: Proficient with Postman, JMeter, or similar QA tools.PREFER QUALIFICATIONS:Domain Knowledge: Experience in banking or financial systems testing.Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with AWS Cloud or other cloud-based data platforms.Certifications: Professional certifications such as ISTQB, Data Analyst, or similar.Programming Skills: Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting languages for data processing and testing automation.
