Over the past 18 months, we have transitioned from a finance system to a full ERP platform, built a dedicated Supply Chain organization, and established a Digital Transformation function that bridges Supply Chain, IT, and the broader business.As we move forward, we are looking for a manager to drive our data governance and quality agenda—ensuring robust data foundations that support both ERP transformation and future initiatives in advanced analytics and AI. This role is critical in maintaining data integrity within a highly regulated biopharma environment.The position reports to the Head of Digital Transformation, Supply Chain, and can be based in either Denmark or Germany. Candidates based in Germany should expect to travel to Denmark approximately one week per month.Key responsibilities:Lead Data Governance: Set enterprise-wide data standards and steward structures across core domainsEnsure Data Quality: Drive profiling, cleansing, and readiness for ERP migrationIntegrate Systems: Align master data across ERP and connected platforms, ensuring GxP complianceBuild Capabilities: Promote data ownership through training and steward models; champion data in ERP, BI, and AI initiativesFuture-Proof Data: Prepare for advanced analytics and support scalable global growthWhat you bring:To become a success in this role, it is evident that you bring experience from transformation projects including creating and implementing governance policies, standards, and processes for master data, transactional data, and derived data products. We want the business and IT teams to be able to create information capital that supports regulatory compliance, patient safety, and AI-driven decision intelligence. The following skills are needed:Ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders and establish governance in complex, global organizationsHands-on experience with ERP migration or upgrade (Microsoft Dynamics or SAP)Familiarity with GxP and CSV requirements for product and batch dataAbility to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, international settingStrong knowledge of master data domains and related governance frameworksData quality tools and analytics/ML exposure are of significant advantage7+ years’ experience in data management, ERP, or digital transformation in pharma, biotech, MedTech or highly regulated industries… What we are looking for is someone who can explain what good looks like, parring the data with business needs.Why this roleThis is a unique opportunity to shape the future of data at Bavarian Nordic during a pivotal time of transformation.
