Data Visualization Specialist – Australia📍 Location: Australia 🕒 Full-timeRole Overview The Data Visualization Specialist transforms complex data into clear, actionable, and visually compelling insights. You will work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design dashboards, reports, and visual storytelling tools that drive informed decision-making across the organisation.Key Responsibilities • Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for internal stakeholders • Translate raw data into clear, insightful, and compelling visual stories • Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting requirements and KPIs • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all visual outputs • Maintain and improve existing visualization frameworks and templates • Leverage tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other BI platforms • Conduct data analysis to support visualization projects and generate insights • Stay up-to-date with best practices in data visualization and emerging toolsRequired Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field • Strong expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent) • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools • Solid understanding of data analysis, metrics, and reporting principles • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate complex concepts into simple visuals • Excellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred Experience • Experience in a corporate, finance, or tech environment • Knowledge of data governance, data warehousing, and BI best practices • Exposure to dashboard design, UX principles, and storytelling through dataWhy This Role Matters Your visualizations help the organisation see patterns, make smarter decisions, and communicate insights effectively.
