Job Description We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Manager to join our growing technology team in Istanbul. Reporting to the Infrastructure and Technology Director, this role will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ColendiBank’s enterprise data warehouse (DWH) architecture. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure data solutions that support the bank’s digital operations, regulatory needs, and analytical initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage data warehouse development teams and data engineering functions across banking domains (e.g., loans, deposits, treasury, GL, risk, and customer analytics). Design and implement DWH solutions aligned with business needs using best practices (Inmon/Kimball methodologies). Oversee ETL development and data integration projects using tools such as Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, SAP Data Services, and others. Coordinate DWH modernization, cloud migration (Azure, AWS, Snowflake), and large-scale architecture transformation efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, BI, Compliance, Product, IT) to define data models, metrics, and KPIs. Monitor data quality, ensure governance standards, and implement metadata/data lineage documentation practices. Build and maintain operational datamarts and analytical layers for enterprise-wide reporting and dashboard solutions. Manage and optimize database performance, partitioning, and indexing strategies across Oracle, SQL Server, and other RDBMS platforms. Provide strategic guidance on big data platforms and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, NiFi) and their integration into DWH. What We're Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in data warehouse architecture, ETL development, or data engineering, ideally in the banking sector. Strong experience in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning across RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL). Proven experience with ETL tools such as AirFlow, Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), SAP Data Services, and SAP SDI. Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Metabase, Qlik, OBIEE, and SAP BO. Experience in big data ecosystem (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, NiFi, HBase, Cassandra) is preferred. Ability to lead data warehouse modernization and migration projects. Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Turkish and English.
