Role Overview:The Database Administrator will manage, maintain, and secure databases to ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and availability.Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain database systems.Monitor performance and implement optimization strategies.Develop and execute database backup and recovery procedures.Ensure data security and compliance.Support data migration and integration projects.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.3–5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.Strong troubleshooting and database management skills.Certification such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DBA, or equivalent is required.Candidates must have prior experience in banking or fintech.To Apply:Send your CV to esther@dwightpatterson.co.uk using “Database Administrator” as the subject line.
